Bafu Chafu > Slang used in the 90's in Nairobbery to describe an act of slueth like theft where one is unaware what is about to befall them.
Once the act was completed, the individual was said to have been "pigwa'd bafu". Something had been taken from you, and you have no idea what had happened and how it happened.
Present day, "bafu chafu" works on the principal that "inspiration is credited theft" The act is credited, but the individual who created that which is inspiring, more times than most, remains unaware that something has been taken from them, and has been used by so many for varied purposes.
